Véronique Robert, M.D.

Véronique Robert, M.D., is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health Sciences at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine. She serves as a course co- director for Physicians, Patients and Populations, where she leads the clinical skills component. She is passionate about preclinical medical education and helping students develop the clinical reasoning, communication and physical examination skills that form the foundation of patient care. She is committed to advancing excellence in medical education while supporting student well-being.

Robert is a family physician and medical educator with experience in both the United States and Europe. Before joining the Fertitta College of Medicine, she taught preclinical medical students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where she served as a small-group facilitator for the On Doctoring and Problem-Based Learning courses. Previously, she taught clinical reasoning and family medicine at the Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, working with medical students and residents through problem-based learning, case-based discussions and evidence-based medicine.

Robert earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles and completed residency training in family medicine. Her clinical interests include primary care for older adults and underserved populations.
