WE ARE COOG MOMS

At UH Coog Moms, we believe every student succeeds with a strong support system.

While our name honors the incredible moms who founded this community, our mission is to welcome and support all family members and supporters who play an important role in a Cougar's journey—including fathers, grandparents, siblings, guardians, chosen family, mentors, and friends.

Our goal is to build a welcoming community where supporters can connect, share experiences, ask questions, celebrate milestones, and discover resources that help them confidently support their University of Houston student.

Through scholarships, social events, service opportunities, athletic events, and community programming, we foster meaningful relationships that strengthen both our supporters and the students they champion.

Whether you're cheering on your Cougar from across the country or right here in Houston, you're an important part of the Cougar family—and you belong here.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to all family members and supporters of current and former University of Houston students.

Whether you're a mom, dad, grandparent, guardian, sibling, spouse, partner, mentor, chosen family member, or another important supporter in a student's life, we invite you to become part of our community.

Together, we celebrate Cougar pride, build lasting friendships, and support student success—because every Cougar has a village.
