About Me

Dr. Davis brings 20+ years of experience working in colleges and universities and is passionate about mentoring students, building inclusive communities, and cultivating environments where students feel supported, included, and empowered to thrive during their college experience. As the Associate Dean in the College of Education,  she oversees undergrad and graduate student advising, teacher certification, and assessment and evaluation within the College. As the Faculty-in-Residence for University Lofts and Bayou Oaks, she gets to interact with residents through one-on-one meetings, social events, and educational programming. Outside of work, Dr. Davis enjoys reading, musical theatre, traveling, and finding joy in everyday moments, especially when they happen near oceans and pools.
