About Me

I am a former preschool and 3rd Grade Math teacher, who is deeply passionate about public education and its ability to create success pathways for all students. I have keen awareness of the potential in others and have enjoyed the opportunity to help them tap into their strengths: as director of a local, non-profit preschool, I developed a parent service program that involved moms and dads in the preparation of their students' breakfast, reading to their students' classes, and volunteering in their community. My work at UH is more behind-the-scenes, but I love being a part of this community during such a momentous season of growth and development.
