Getting hungry while you study on campus?
UH Sugar Land Campus offers several dining and vending options to meet the needs of our busy students. Food and drinks are allowed in general areas and study areas in the Albert & Mamie George Building, Brazos Hall and the Sugar Land Academic Building. With faculty permission, students are allowed to bring drinks and food into general classrooms. Food and drinks are prohibited in computer labs, instructional television classrooms and science labs.
ShastaBUCKS Accepted on Grubhub
The University of Houston has partnered with Grubhub to allow faculty, staff and students to place orders with off-campus restaurants using their ShastaBUCKS with $0 delivery fees on eligible orders. Students, faculty and staff can get their favorite food delivered straight to campus.More details and FAQ
Cougar Corner
Featuring We Proudly Serve Starbucks coffee, Cougar Corner has your favorite handcrafted coffee and tea beverages, espresso, lattes, sandwiches, snacks, personal pan pizzas and ice cream. Cougar Corner is located on the first floor of Brazos Hall (BH2) near the student lounge. It can accept debit/credit cards, Cougar Dining Dollars and ShastaBUCKS.
Avenue C Micro Market
Students, faculty and staff can purchase food, beverages and snacks from the on-campus Avenue C Self-Checkout Micro Market. A microwave is available for use inside the market. The market is located in room 115 on the first floor of the Sugar Land Academic Building (SAB1) behind the Multipurpose room. It accepts credit cards.
Food Pop Ups at Brazos Hall
Starting January 27, 2026, stop by Brazos Hall (BH2) every Tuesday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and enjoy the Absurd Bird Dining Pop Up featuring chicken tenders, mac n' cheese paired with Absurd Bird sauce.
Vending Machines
Studying late? Grab a snack at any one of our vending machines in the student lounges/break rooms located on the first floors of Brazos Hall (BH2), the Albert & Mamie George Building (AMG) and the Sugar Land Academic Building (SAB1). Exclusive beverage vending service provided by the Coca Cola Company. Snack vending and frozen foods are provided by Canteen. Our vending machines accept cash and credit card.
