Improve Cell Coverage in the Residence Halls

You can get better cell coverage on campus by enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone. Most major carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) support this feature. It uses the UH Wi-Fi network to improve call quality in buildings where cellular signals are weak.

UHSecure Wi-Fi in the Residence Halls

UIT recommends connecting to the UHSecure wireless network for a secure, encrypted connection throughout the residence halls and campus. Avoid open or unsecured networks when possible.
