HHP faculty Dr. Richard Simpson made national news recently when his research was featured on NBC news. The segment on NBC nightly news featured Dr. Simpsons research which suggests that exercise strengthens immune cells, improving their response to bacteria and viral infections, and making them better at recognizing and killing cancer cells.
