Dr. Nancy Beck Young, Director of the UH Center for Public History, is featured in several of the episodes.
The first episode, "Trip 19," features a discussion of the tragic and mysterious 1940 plane crash, killing Minnesota Senator, Ernest Lundeen. One of the strange elements of this story was a scandal surrouding the working relationship between Lundeen and a senior, Nazi agent. The news of this partnership were coming to light only a couple of weeks prior to the plane crash, and it was clear that Lundeen feared for the worst.
